For sure. I'm more of a dweeb about washing and drying stuff, but I do think a leather jacket looks best when beat to shit.

A little rain won't hurt it. The drops look neat when they darken the leather but they dry and don't leave a stain quickly too.

My puppies on the other hand make me nervous but I think I'll quickly go punk rock with it and think feck it.

I will say it drapes a bit out from my back more than I would like it to. But the sleeves, shoulders and length are perfect. It'll drape better and form well with time though, right? Graham was just telling me that this morning.

Oh awesome, thanks @Wlemon that looks like a solid resource. I really, really dig the way the Mr. Freedom natty jackets look too. The style is so neat looking. I don't own anything from them but I do drool over their website from time to time.

Update. Actually took these yesterday.
Been debating whether or not to artificially inseminate with Vitamin D and give it a coat of Pecard. It’s 0 degrees here and not much sun.  So far, holding strong.

@jstark I've been meaning to lay mine out in the sun too but it's been pretty cloudy here. The article linked a few posts ago said to lay it out in the sun whenever you're not wearing it. But I can't seem to take mine off.

The patina on the inside of yours looks awesome.

Here are some photos from today at work. The patina is a grey/green/blue color that appears darker in person compared to the photos. This jacket evos so quickly it really quite literally looks different after each day of wear. On days that I do wear it, it's on me from early morning to bedtime. A good 9-11 hours a day typically.

I'm noticing some streaking that almost looks like small rivers on the outer parts of the forearms. Maybe that is the horse hide grain? The honeycombs are neat too, which are starting to come in as dark marks compared to denim which has lighter patterns where the indigo falls. I am likely going to stay away from any treatment for some time, if at all. I like how some areas are light and might lead down to road to some sharp contrast. This is all new to me so any insight about what to expect as time continues would be run to read about.
