I am thinking about importing a bicycle frameset from the UK to Germany. Does anyone know how the numbers roughly add up? Is it the frameset (1900 GBP in this case) plus German VAT (19%) plus shipping plus customs?

@RobeOfTheMagi vat+customs are usually calculated off the price of the goods plus the price of shipping.

@RobeOfTheMagi it also depends on who you are buying from, commercial or private. Commercial may offer DDP, in which case they will take care of all the necessary paperwork and what you see as the final price before buying is what you will ultimately pay

We got a taste of the SST denim making a comeback in 555 cut but has there been any developments on other cuts (888)? Also, I could be wrong, but it seems the 888 cut hasn't been getting much love on the restocks this year... I'd just like to voice my support for the cut

@Alex @AdamJ I figure since the thread is still locked, there obviously aren't any imminent updates on the 526-SBG, but I'm wondering — is it even still happening? Just in limbo? Or likely getting the kibosh? I know IWHWIH etc etc but just kinda curious if I should keep my hopes up.
