@brently I right with ya , I will and have only worn bootcut or larger , we used to slit outseam of Levi’s 501 with a 2 1/2” slit
Years ago I bought a IH-464 from Japanit was called bell bottom but for me having to hem them quite a bit they came out to basically a IH-461. Perfect !

Found some used 461Z and they are my favorite pair. Great cut. Wish they were in continuous production and available in the US. You guys should do a return for credit only or something if the returns were that bad. Hopefully the new 463 comes to the US, looking forward to that one

From my understanding the 461 was difficult to size correctly and that created an issue with abnormally high returns. I can understand why as a bussiness stear away from something like this. The 463 is much more forgiving and easier to size so hopefully we see them back again.

@Giles I've considered getting a pair of the 461Z or 461S, since bootcut is my comfort food. I was curious...what is difficult with the sizing? For example if I know my own personal measurement (not garment measurements) should I still expect to maybe get it wrong?

Low rise and slim thigh and knee.
The first time I put a pair on I thought 'oh no' because of the tight thighs and low rise, but once I stretched them out for an hour or so, they fit perfectly, my favorite pair now. But, I could see where someone would be thrown off by the fit the first time they put them on.

I just had a pair of these delivered yesterday, bought off ebay from Japan, 461Z new with the tag still sewn on, but there is this weird stain or washed out area on the inside. The outside looks normal, but on the inside it looks like this. I thought it was weird how the lighter color skipped the patch and pocket area. Has anyone seen this before?

Long answer:
99% of people can't size our boot cut properly (let alone in a 25oz). The customer returns on the IH-461 and IH-461S were off the scale, which is why we no longer offer them.....Additionally, as @Alex has said a number of times, our production capacity is such that we can't make enough of our current core cuts to satisfy demand as it is.
It is seriously embarrassing and potentially damaging for us never to have a decent quantity of core items in stock for more than a day or two. We're the brand FFS......
Some people think we are manipulating production to create scarcity, and that hurts me personally, as we have never been, nor ever will be that cynical.

The original question is “would they consider making a 25oz bootcut (461 or 463)?
The answer was no.
As to the 21oz. 461’s being restocked, I am asking the IHUK crew.
