Yeah, the last 5 years I’ve been picking up tattoos from the different countries I visited. Like you said, they make great souvenirs. I still need to get one from Nepal …

@Matt thanks yeah me too. The same artist did the stairs and archway and I went in not knowing what I wanted and walked out not knowing if I like what I’ve got
While my sessions rarely start with the vision I originally had in mind, I’ve learned to fully surrender to the process. I trust his eye over my own expectations. As I always tell people: Polak gives you the tattoo you need, not just the one you wanted.

I had a tattoo applied by a drunk Irish guy over 30 years ago. He was great...but inebriated... I put up with it for about twenty years. I've always said - if you're going to get a tattoo don't ever start regretting it. Anyway, about seven years ago I asked for a cover up job. You've always got to go bigger! ...and it is so addictive, the pleasure and pain

@EdH that will take a little searching... but yeah, it'll be somewhere. It was another snake and a bit of celtic work (a simple flash). I was 30, newly divorced and needed to do a bit more research!
