IH-526V-XHS - 25oz Selvedge Denim Type III Vest - Indigo

@Oaktavia Amazing. I have handled the vest twice for fellow form members - it's one of those pieces for sure.
Looked up the second one in 44 sold on eBay. Rather stiff price, but then again, they don't make them anymore. I have a feeling that 44 might have been a tad too small for me anyway... -
Great condition of it too, can't way to see what you do to it in 6 months!
-
@tody yeah the 44 was high. The 42 was $290 so not too bad.
@Go-For-Chill @Jord I'll be wearing it a lot
-
@Oaktavia off-topic but it makes me smile seeing you still like Filthy's posts on here, I've been having a read throughout this thread... He'd be super pumped you got one!

wish I had a 42
my 40 is a little tight at the moment.
fck beer belly

@Kasi GOODNESS brother! Yours is pimped out man. That’s a $3k vest soon with them price increases haha
-
Did it long time ago. Even Josh couldn’t keep his eyes off it.

@Alex I just noticed the underside of the collar felt different when I flipped it up in the rain today. I looked at it and noticed it appeared to be a different denim than 25oz. I checked the inside of the chest pocket flaps and saw the same. It looks like a lightweight denim of some kind. I would assume it is because doubling up with a 2 ply 25oz was too tough to sew? Pics below.

The thickness of the threads is evident in these photos. First is the inner part of the collar vs the upper shoulder. Also the inner pocket flap vs below the pocket. So my question is do you know what type of denim was used? I think this is super rad and makes me like the vest even more. Please correct me of I am wrong but I inspected it closely for a while before I decided to make this post. Hope you're having a good weekend.

I reckon 10oz.
This would have been my guess as well. Thanks for sharing the photos too! The difference is super clear in your photos. Really neat addition to make this vest even cooler. Reminds me of the Mister Freedom Ranch Blouse that has different fabrics under the collar.
@Kasi it looks like denim to me. Diagonal twill, indigo weft with the white warp showing through. But it does almost look like a Wabash-esque fabric of some kind in my photos. Not so much in @bwscott's.
