@FlavourFade very true, that’s how i ended up scoring a kristofferson a couple weeks ago.
-
@Go-For-Chill totally right. Maybe just have to change my mindset about all that a bit. Had to google neimann marcus, but can't compare to any shop like this

-
For those that missed, comment your favorite album on the most recent SJ Instagram post to win one. Ya never know
-
@FlavourFade ha! It’s sort of know as the department store in the US most famous for crazy customer service. Free alterations, unquestioned returns beyond their stated policy, bending over backwards for customers… you just pay for it up front with crazy priced goods.
-
@Go-For-Chill Are you sure you're not thinking of Nordstrom? I never had good service when I shopped at Neiman Marcus decades ago.
-
Ended up sleeping through the drop. Decided that I already bought three shirts since Redline Rally started that I have wait another 301 days before I can wear them. And adding a fourth to that pile would not do. Maybe next time. I'll put the money "saved" (rationalizing already
) towards a nice pair of boots I think -
That used to be Nordstrom, I’m not sure if they’re still the same now. I used to shop there a lot 20-25 years ago with my ex-wife and there was absolutely nothing they wouldn’t take back.
Not a fan of Neiman Marcus, never gotten so much attitude from people selling ties and generally awful men’s clothing.

@Denimhead-0 thank you

The first album that came to mind.
If wasn’t in an underground parking lot on the way to dinner I may have snagged one but it’s fine
. Eventually I’ll buy something Ship John. -
@Chibs I chose Dark side of the Moon
-
@Denimhead-0 Great album. Probably their best.

I would have thought Wish you were here would have been the obvious choice
All three mentioned, the Wall as well. If doing psychedelics, Ummagumma

-
@Denimhead-0 Meddle is short but also so good. PF was amazing right up until after The Wall.
-
Pink Floyd are all time.
I love Obscured by Clouds and a soundtrack they did called More. -
I saw Pink Floyd during the early days,Pier at The Gates Of Dawn/Saucer Full of Secrets/Ummagumma tours. They would take over the Fillmore East for a night and bring in all their own sound, lights and light show. It was always during the week so as not to interfere with the regular Fillmore schedule. Was never sold out. The shows were off the charts incredible. Always closing with Interstellar Overdrive. It was also always on a school night so I had to pretty much behave. Be Careful With That Axe Eugene, and See Emily Play are two of my favorites.
