I’ve since sorted them to be fixed locally so I am sure they will be fine !

@Baba-san I am with @Mizmazzle here, I think even if these products may be worth their prices, the producers should not forget that it's still a lot of money and a certain "after sales care" can be expected.

To be the devil’s advocate…Two years is a long time and I’m pretty sure we have all heard the stories of the car that was only driven on the weekends, etc, etc. Not saying that Wesco is in the right, but I do understand their viewpoint. Even meeting in the middle may have soothed the situation some.
I often find that how a situation is dealt with depends on how it was presented to them in the first place. Because a third party was involved, the story may have been muddied along the way and you may have gotten a different response by contacting Wesco directly.
Also, I know that Wesco is under pressure right now with back orders and that may (or may not) have contributed to their response. Knowing you can’t produce boots in timely manner may have meant they’re unable to take on repairs at the current time.
Just throwing it out there, that there are always many sides to a story.

I've been wearing these horsehide Mr. Lous all around the south of Iceland over the past few days. They have been so sturdy and comfortable, totally broken in. Nice Icelandic patina on there now and will not be cleaned off!

@Oaktavia yo - these look great & keep the photos of Iceland coming - question for you re:sizing - did you take your regular shoe size in your Mr. Lous (i.e. vans size) or did you size down at all? Thanks!

I went with my Vans size I believe, regular 11.5 but I could wear a 12 too I'd bet.

I was curious, or if anyone else can maybe chime in…
I wear a 10.5E Mister Lou and just ordered the WE-CXL7710705-BLK - Custom Boss Engineer Chromexcel - Black from the IH Germany website in 10.5D. I spoke with Chris before I ordered about the sizing and he said it would definitely work so I’m assuming I’m good to go, but just curious about others experience if they’ve tried both these style boots. -

Just got these back from being resoled at unsung house. They didn’t need to be, but I really wanted to do a lugsole swap and I’m so happy I did. These are the custom pair from the ironheart Germany site but with the lug sole has more of the black bear look, which I love. These turn around time was insanely fast. I booked an appointment and sent out a few days prior to the appointment date. All in all about a 2 week turn around time
