        We have a had a total of USD3,000 of chargebacks from Malaysia and Indonesia in the last month.  I'm seriously considering only shipping to people there who we "know".  A chargeback is basically fraudulent use of a credit card or PayPal.  In every case, we have followed the advice we have been given, but we have still been stiffed.

        I am in a VERY bad mood…................

        WTF! I don't really understand it. Don't you actually get the payment before shipping? Anyway that sucks very hard. I am in the middle of setting up on line store so really need to look in to this

          A chargeback is when the "card owner" says that either they did not receive the goods or that the card was used fraudulently.  They have up to six months after purchase date to file a charegeback

            jimmy, you get payments before you ship, but if you accept cc payments or paypal, there is always a risk of a later chargeback, unfortunly not everyone around there is your friend…

                Many big punkdistros were the victim of this years ago… I remember Felix Havoc talking about this... Shit is apparently inevitable, but of course it's frustrating beyond...

                  That sucks G.. your reputation needs no proof. If these people want to wear some IH gear direct from the castle, im sure a direct bank deposit wouldn't be hard to do. Better yet, western union or xoom cash transaction

                      Maybe they read it as 'Pickup only' and saw you live in Santa Country, which isn't easily accessible (sleigh or reindeer only)…
