Walking in the park in autumn you can play a round of a particularly fun game I like to call "where's the pile of shit hiding in between all those leaves".

The worst thing is that not picking up the poop is self-defeating.. I am convinced that dog owners are disproportionately likely to step into poop because their dogs are drawn to it

I hate it when people leave bagged dog shit on the trail to “pick it up on the way back.”

Still litter, and you’ve only made it worse by littering turds AND a plastic bag. It is still an ugly bag of shit passers-by have to look at until you MAYBE pick it up later.

It’s not hard to pack it out. The dog can carry the bagged poop in saddle bags, for instance.

If you can’t clean up public spaces from your dog’s poop, you don’t deserve a dog.

I feel all this in my bones and our neighborhood has way too many dog poo villains. It’s gotten so bad a lot of neighbors have put up little yard signs asking for you to clean up after your dog. Embarrassing

Every park here and most main streets where I live have dog litter bags on a roll that can be used so we don’t really have much poop that’s left on the floor
