Neurologists aren‘t surgical, that’s neurosurgeons.
I was at university hospitals for almost 20 yrs. Did neurological intensive care, stroke unit and an epilepsy centre. Besides neuroscientific research, teaching and administration. A few years ago I wanted (and needed) a better work-life-balance and started my own practise, where I now do everything that‘s somewhat neurological (brain & nerves), but never surgical work.

I can’t believe we are still waiting for the first “single blade barber” jokes from @Matt after several months on the job. Beginning to wonder whether they are a trade secret to avoid negative publicity. There’s got to be some bloody good ones.

The above was meant to be a friendly joke. I thought your fine sense of humour, your barbershop experience and the ‘single blade shave’ discussion in another thread were perfect to invite jokes/stories from you. Seemed like a fine idea to me that late night but it surely didn’t belong here in RANTS. I’ll blame alcohol for my judgement lapse.

Having to do a tax return for a country you don't live in or have any financial connection to... is a tedious way to spend a Sunday evening.
