Freigeist Bierkultur interpretation of a historical British Stock Ale….here cellared for a long time to dry out the complexity of the rosted malt. Dry hopped and it is tasting beautifully …

This one is a blend of Porters that were aged in bourbon barrels from different distilleries,but as much as I love Bourbon the bourbon barrel oakiness combined with the high alcohol make this one less enjoyable. First one from these guys that I haven’t liked. $20 for the bottle. Oh well.

My brother gave me a bottle. Not something I would have bought. I was expecting a sweet mess. It was actually very good. Didn’t taste much like cola, which was a good thing.

Words cannot describe how good this one was. This  definitely makes up for the last one. All the flavors blend perfectly. Had it with some left over Que.

I had the Willet version last year, and while it was good, price wise nothing touches the original

Ha!  Boh knows.  If I had a nickel for every one of those I put away in high school I’d have a whole lot of nickels.  Of course nickels taste better so I’d have been better off eating those.  The holiday can is a classy touch.  I guess that’s what happens when your hometown beer gets bougie.  Thanks gentrification.
