My brother gave me a bottle. Not something I would have bought. I was expecting a sweet mess. It was actually very good. Didn’t taste much like cola, which was a good thing.

My go to BA Stout. Much preferred to the adjunct versions. Bonus that my wife likes it. 2021 version didn’t disappoint.

Nice BCBS pickup @Sage954
I had the Willet version last year, and while it was good, price wise nothing touches the original
A couple years ago I managed to find somewhere that was doing a growler fill of this stuff…"bad" idea -
These two couldn’t be more different.
Ha! Boh knows. If I had a nickel for every one of those I put away in high school I’d have a whole lot of nickels. Of course nickels taste better so I’d have been better off eating those. The holiday can is a classy touch. I guess that’s what happens when your hometown beer gets bougie. Thanks gentrification.

The youngest Franconias-Brazilian joint brew from Roland Kundmüller and Alexandre Bazzo is a deep black (in the dialect cone-coloured) Imperial Stout with a special smokey malt note. Brewed on the occasion of the Bamberg District´s International Week, it combines everything that this top-fermented, strong type of beer needs: full-bodiedness, chocolate and coffee notes and a warming effect that lasts for a long time. Our new friendships beer.
Alcohol content: 8.5%
Original gravity: 21%
Hops: East Kent Golding, Fuggles
Malts: Pilsner, Special W, Münchner Typ 2, Carafa Typ 2, Carabelge
Special Collaboration brew with brazilian brewer Alexandre Bazzo from the brewery Cervejaria Bamberg -
