Is there any stretch in the waist after some wear?

Not sure wether the thighs are big enough for shorts. i don't want them to fit tight and even sizing up to 36 would probably not be enough.

I found this to be the case in a lot of the latest Releases, but that might just be me. I like / need above 13"-13,25" in 34.

I asked this for DWCxUHR and I am asking it for the IH-816DD.
I found the 11.8 inches room for thigh of the IH-6634 (tag size 30) narrower than I wanted.  It is 11.3 for the IH-816DD. Does this mean this one won't fit my legs or will I have to wear it to be sure?
Also, will every pair of IH pants with thighs smaller than 11.8 be too tight for me?
                  Please advise. Thanks 🙂

@Giles - Thanks for the reply.

It is sad because it means that this pair and most other IH jeans won't fit my legs.
So is it a smart idea to go from a tag size of 30 to 34 and then get the waist reduced by a tailor?

I think that drastic of a reduction would be difficult to pull off and still maintain the integrity of the pants. I have some 634sb that another forum member had tailored from a 38 to 34 inch waist, and they bunch a little bit in strange places.

I'm new here, but I think measuring your current best fitting pants per the IHUK guide will answer all of your questions.

But, ultimately common sense dictates that 11.8>11.3, so if the IH-6634 didn't fit, these surely won't with less fabric stretch…..

I'm afraid that isn't smart.  May=be we are not the jeans for you…..Sorry....

Super crappy quick fit pics from cloudy yesterday:

Quickly put to good use - first wear to work today [emoji4]
Makes a great pairing with the TW112 IMO (or any indigo western for that matter, especially if you're not too keen on the classic Canadian tux look)

Close-up comparo with the 112 (again under pale evening light). The DD indigo is very deep and rich:

                                        Better pics hopefully soon!
