@AdamJ I was looking at those in Philly at Franklin & Poe… I was tempted. Really nice.

@Giles what is this piece of perfection? I have been on the hunt for the perfect Jeep Cap. I literally just settled on one yesterday.

@derek111 if you are looking for an authentic Jeep Cap then I would try a site called World War 2 Impressions. They make amazing stuff and have been used in movies for uniforms etc. I have 2 of the jeep caps and they are fantastic. Here is a link.

              Just a cheapy I got off Amazon. It’s 100% wool which I wanted. £12.

A fun little Wabash flat cap arrived today. Never been able to pull this vibe off. Maybe the moustache will help.

Hat and stache combo looks good on you

Not sure if the reference will translate outside the US but Roy Underhill would agree

Hovering on the buy button on one of these weird keepsake hats from William Ellery. I think you are supposed to use the mesh panel to stick feathers and flowers or whatever you come across on your journey. Kind of cool, mostly ridiculous.

Thank you. It's th first time I have tried to make a Turks Head. I have a feeling they may start appearing on random stuff all over the place. 🙂

@deanclean Saw your post and ended up buying one of the MF denim caps. Just got it and it fits great. Hits the sweet spot in regards to the profile (not too high and not too low). I ended up removing the label as I prefer just a plain cap. Thanks for posting this as I didn't know about it.

Found out about this brand from Naked and Famous. Made in Canada from 100% merino. It really surprised me how stretchy it is with zero acrylic. Very nice.

Michael Cerny in Germany makes Newsboy Caps out of deerskin from Gerberei Kolesch, who also supply the hides for the Big Buck shirts. I haven't handled one, but they look lovely.
