after some wait I got my first pair of Lost Boy boots ( former Kings Boots) yesterday 🥳
maybe not everyone’s taste but I absolutely love them. Very unique and the craftsmanship is absolutely amazing and the best I’ve seen so far , and I’ve seen a lot

Those look great! That black piece of leather in the arch threw me off at first I thought it was a super high arch.

That’s the same Vibram sole I’m looking to do on my next pair of Unsung engineers/ropers. Still debating what I’m going have him build, but I have plenty of time to figure that out.

These bad boys just landed. Wesco x Ship John Derroll Boots. Was thinking of putting em under the tree for Christmas, however, don’t think I can wait.

@hjl360 they are brown roughout. Here’s a couple pics to see the difference. Lighter color is distressed roughout. Both pairs a couple years old but the darker pair was just oiled.

Yeah the story goes that they were utilising remaining material leftover from previous styles, made something like 403 pairs and weren’t going to be getting any more outsoles so I believe that’s all they could make.
Sourced matching hardware and there you have it. Hence overall numbers limited to the availability of the Vibram TC-1 I believe. Limited it to European stores.
I live in Scotland, so happened to be down in London the week after they went on sale and nipped into the Red Wing store and was able to try them on and got the guys to send them to Scotland for me.
Love them.

@SKT Ah man thanks so much for posting, that's the exact comparison I've been wanting to see. Ready to pull the trigger on some cruisers in White's next sale event and wasn't sure between brown roughout and distressed roughout.

You have awesome taste in boots! I intend for a pair of C350-CS to be my 2nd pair somewhere down the road.
