It’s shaping up to be a good turnout. Close to 40 +- so far which I’m sore will oscillate wildly between now and then.

@Matt end of September is usually peak season for big blue crabs. Doesn’t get anymore Baltimore than that…maybe Natty Boh. I’m in whatever the plan. Thanks for organizing.

I considered organizing a crab thing but it would be a little overwhelming for the uninitiated and it’s too expensive for those who might find it’s not for them. Happy to point you in the direction of a good place to get some though for any who are interested.

Been a part of the Marylander culture for generations. My family has annual crab feasts every summer. The best part of crab picking is the "lollipop" backfin.

Crab cakes are easy. Kokos has very good crab cakes but it’s a bit outside the general area we’re in. I can see if I can find a good place closer to where we’ll be but if not and if you have transportation Kokos is a good option. I’ll see if I can put together some logistics for a steamed crab outing.
