@SKT Great fit. How do you like the 79 jacket? My North Face down jacket is getting near the end of its life. This might be a nice upgrade although there isn’t much feedback here on the forum that I could find.

@Denman-John I love the 79 as an “all-around” winter jacket. It’s pretty slim in the arms so layering could be problematic for some depending on build. I think a good down parka/coat still has a place for us living in colder regions. The Primaloft Gold in the 79 does a great job of insulating and the outer fabric is tough/robust. It’s one of my favorite pieces but I do use down sometimes when very cold. Hope that helps!
