Ooo so many good-looking writing instruments up in this thread. I’m a ball point person, and this has been my go to for years. It’s a zebra, refillable, and cheap! They cost like $7.50. I like it because I can keep it in my pants pocket and it won’t get messed up.

@ddtrash measured the 600 and 800. The 600 is about 8mm thick and the 800 is about 8.4mm. Both feel about the same weight-wise. Love being able to carry it in my pocket now.

Fun thread! I use my old Apple notebooks and the Scheaffer for more mental exploration and planning. The Uni-Ball Vision Elite, specifically in the Blue & Black ink, along with the small legal pad help me do my daily/weekly chores. Definitely on the cheap but effective side here. That pen is maybe 15-20 years old. I can’t even remember when I got it. Beat up and well traveled.

In itself just a standard Parker ballpoint, but this was the pen my mum used to do the crossword every day and now I use it for endless to do lists!

I'm giving fountain pens another shot, so here's the one I'm trying to use from Bastion. Trying to write more and maybe improve my handwriting. Unfortunately, I may have got either a defective pen or the ink is way too old!

But I also do have a ballpoint pen that I do carry with me. Very smooth and more of what I'm used to, in terms of writing.

County Comm does a variety of mystery packs on their website. I bought their “Summer Mega Big Daddy” pack for $99, $89 with a 10% discount from a previous purchase. The pack came with various cool items of EDC nature. But what I’m really excited for are these two pens! Just these alone are valued well above what I paid.

The black one is their Embassy Pen, done in Delrin with a honeycomb pattern. The clear one is their version of a bolt action pen done in Polycarbonate. The clips and screws are all grade 5 titanium. The bag and patches were part of the mystery bag too. The Morse code one is GITD!

Trying a few new pencils. Uni Kurotoga Advance and a Kurutoga Dive. Really good so far. Will have to see how they hold up with all the complications.
