Update: the missus is in Vienna for a conference. Will be looking into flights and accommodation. @scooter am I remembering correctly that flying into Gatwick makes for an easier trip to Gosport?

@Tago-Mago It did for me. The train is connected to the airport which goes directly to the ferry.

Doesn’t get much simpler.
