RE: IH-1955S - 21oz Selvedge Denim "1955" Vintage Tapered Cut Jeans - Indigoposted in Bottoms
It was time for a wash, this weekend. It left me wondering how long I've had this as my primary pair. I checked my order history, and it turns out it's been longer than I thought. These landed on my doorstep more than 5 years ago. I have no idea how many wears. But, since I wash about twice a year, they've likely gotten wet 10 - 12 times...

I've been meaning to share this, since my return from Gosport, last fall. I was gifted a very special piece at the party. These cannot be bought. A very special thank you goes out to the entire IH family for this honor...

Giving them a little air. It's been 8 weeks, since I bought 2 pair. Unlike @Kasi , there is no stock. Only rock. They get rotated every other day at work. Each pair has 20 wears, to this point. In 2 weeks they'll get their first bath...

@scooter I’ve never tried any of those, but have heard nothing but great things about all of them. Especially the 12 yr. For my personal tastes, the sweet spot for bourbon, tends to be 7-10 years old. After that they can be a bit too oakie/oaky for my taste. Having said that, The Elijah Craig 18 is one of my all time favorites. I felt that the Knob Creek 14 was a bit too oaky for me. How would you rate these on their oakiness level?
If you can handle EC18, you can certainly handle KC12. It's a far less pricey pour, as well. Honestly, the KC12 is #2 of my "always on hand" Bourbons.
As far as oak goes, I brought a bottle of the new Jack Daniels Heritage Toasted to a friend's place for Thanksgiving. It's a lovely pour. But, it's definitely oak heavy. Personally, I find the oak influence of the KC18 and KC21 less offensive. If memory serves, you are a fan of Woodford Double Oaked. I have the same opinion of that comparison, too...
