I'm on the fence between the type 2 or the type 3 for the Mrs. as a christmas gift....the type 2 is def more unique compared to the mass produced jean jackets out there. Be more of a standout...but then, can't go wrong with a classic!!

This slub overdyed black fabric looks truly unique. I never thought I'd go for a Type II until I saw this release, but this is the one I'll be getting.

This thing is EPIC. I have real trouble taking it off, as it has moulded to my body (happened within two days). It is really comfortable, and the toughness makes it feel like a seriously durable jacket. Wear it in the hot days and the cold ones. This is about three weeks wear. Enjoy, my slubbies!

@Mister_Brue I don't own this t2, but I do have the 16oz OD Slubby in the T3 fit. Comparing the fabrics: both drape beautifully and very quickly (the Slubby OD is like a second skin). I've worn them both too little to say about fade (I've had the 139 for a week and I plan on wearing the 506 for the next few months) but the 19oz fabric is incredibly quick to fade. Both are gorgeous jackets, I'm leaning toward the 139 because I love the back strap and t2 fit right now but the Slubby IH is truly gorgeous, it's a tough choice my friend, if you have any pics or can answer any other questions please email me and I'll be happy to.!

@Mizmazzle I picked this up from japan this is the most amazing fabric not cheap but the best type2 ive ever bought and believe me I have a lot of type 2s Studio D'artisan SP-088 15oz 45th Anniversary "Tokushima Hinode-Awa Shoai" Type II Jacket.

We have the 507-SLB in production which will be here in March / April but I am not seeing any word on the SLBod on the schedule. @Alex may know more than me.
