We'll be offering them as a pre-order in a couple of months, I want to give them some shit before we launch, so you (and me  :)) have some idea of how they will wabi sabi up.

Just curious,how did these come about. Did you ask Chris for purple boots or did he tell you I’m getting some purple leather,or something else?

Chris sent us swatches of Maryam horse leathers. I like the purple, so asked Chris if he would make me a pair of Mr Lou's out of it….

I was thinking it must be in relation to the anniversary party.  Purple boots and the purple uhf with acorn collab. coming out in time for the party.

Haha yes! I totally agree. Once I passed 40 I felt the big relief of just being like "ok this is what I wear — it's what I like, and I'm committing to it," vs continuing to pay attention to trends etc. I'll totally admit that I still have vestiges of "what will people think?" that have kinda dogged me my whole life, but they're a lot less.

It's good to kick those concepts to the curb. Maybe while wearing some purple Lous.
