I'd looked at that UES flannel as a nice departure color wise, how do you like it @Memphisakers

@Joberwocky I really like it! I’m not super crazy about the fit… but I’m a western shirt guy and this is a work shirt so that could be part of it. The fabric and colorway are worth dealing with the slightly weird fit to me. The body is pretty short/wide and the neck hole is a little bigger than I’m used to. It is shuttle loom weaved and rope dyed so the fabric is much looser weave than a UHF and it should fade well. It feels more like a medium weight flannel from Iron Heart warmth wise.

Thanks @Paul9221! There's a Filson store in a high end Galleria a mile from my office. There's some great hefty fabrics offered, and I would love to own a double mackinaw with the fur collar.
