Just when I thought it wasn't possible to love IH anymore than I already do…

Your guys don't sit on cruise control, always a foot on the gas headed to be better.
I don't need any more reasons to support the brand, but I keep finding them anyways.
+1 here. Thank you @jordanscollected for beautifully writing the same sentiment I share. I could never have expressed it as well as you.

Yeah, @jordanscollected has a way with words and I've admired @Matt in that regard a lot lately too.

As part of our RE:LOVE program, we said 10% of the money generated from these sales will go to charity. So far, from RE:Loved items sold, we have generated sales of $8,653, so today we donated $865 (£639) to the Blue Marine Foundation.
The Blue Marine Foundation is a charity dedicated to restoring the ocean to health by addressing overfishing, one of the world’s biggest environmental problems.
We will be paying UPS to offset the carbon we are responsible for and (we have backdated this to April 1st 2021 - the start of our financial year) and we have also been working with a consultancy firm to weigh our carbon usage as a business in general. Anything that is remaining once UPS has offset our shipping will be offset directly by us.
Both these methods of offsetting will focus mainly on reforestation and similar initiatives, so we felt it was important to have something focused on the ocean as well.

We will be getting counters built onto the relevant pages of the site so that you can see how much we are offsetting and donating over time.

I've been trying to do my part, in regards to reducing the carbon footprint. Knowing I may make more than one purchase, within weeks of one another, I've been stacking pieces as much as possible. Normally, my deliveries travel from the UK to the UPS facility in Kentucky, then on to Wisconsin. Unfortunately, my latest order has taken the scenic route around the globe. It found it's way from the UK to Hong Kong, of all places. It has since moved on to Taiwan. So much for doing my part…

Sadly, we have no control over what happens to packages after they are picked up from us. At the end of the day, everyone can only do their part to make a change, we are trying our best and appreciate you doing yours too, Scott.
Make no mistake, Alex, I have absolutely zero frustration with anyone on your end. UPS is 100% responsible for that. I was simply venting, and considering how well UPS has been prior, I probably should've let it go, this time. Hopefully it's an outlier. It wound up ping-ponging between Hong Kong and Taiwan, twice, before moving on to Alaska, and then to Kentucky, where it should've gone in the first place. Amazingly, it only wound up one day late, with roughly 20,000 extra miles travelled. ::)

You're not alone scooter. My order did almost the same thing over the weekend minus the double bounce between Taiwan and China. All to get it to Pennsylvania. This shirt has seen more of the world than I have!

Very happy to announce that we are now officially carbon neutral. Will be posting more detail on the amount of carbon offset and what the credits have been used towards in due course.
The certificate is in the name of Island to Island Group, to those not familiar this is the company structure involving Iron Heart.
