bird watching while i do a ring technology refresh. we have 3 (red shoulder, coopers, and a yet to be defined) sets of Hawks nesting in our immediate vicinity.

@mikebarhoot Love those hawks Mike. We’ve had some Coopers and Red-Shouldered in our neighborhood recently. My son saw a Mississippi Kite today which was a new one to me. Big fan of the birds Only down side to the hawks is they tend to decimate our feeder birds

Climbed a 14er, Mt Bierstadt. Perfect weather for it, and an early start had me down by 10am with a nice long rest on the summit.

@sabergirl @endo Yup. This is on a portion of the Appalachian Trail inside the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Right on the TN-NC border. One of the few natural places around that hasn’t been mined, developed, or otherwise destroyed.

A few weeks ago I saw a friend post about the reopening so I signed up for email notifications in the off chance I'd be in town during a business trip in the coming months. I knew I'd be traveling to Denver this week but never in a million years did I expect to get an invite to go. So stoked and all I can say is everything exceeded expectations. We had so much fun, everything was so clean and on point, the staff was incredible, and the food was actually great!

Wasn’t today, but stoked to announce I got married last week! Was super fun and now enjoying the married life!
