I’d love a western boot cut. Like IH’s take on Wrangler’s 13MWZ, even with the leather patch moved to the same spot on the high pocket. Would cop instantly, starch, and press a seam into those soooo quickly
Have you looked into The Boss cut? If that doesnt work for you, you’ll be hard pressed get another cut in the lineup (give the current manufacturing constraints) let alone convincing Haraki-san to clone an existing and less iconic/popular cut than the Levis 501 (the 1955 example).
My Boss Cuts are Starched with this stuff (Smells like leather lol) - and pressed. I'll admit however, the 21oz is so soft the creases do not hold super well...but perhaps I have not soaked them enough. I will try again and report back here with results

I'd like to see more t-shirt prints on the 6.5oz fabric instead of 7.5oz, I've got a few older ones and they're more comfortable for me, just my opinion though.

Would be sick to see IH do a brown/copper weft denim at some point. Something in the vein of Strike Gold’s 21xx brown weft stuff or SOSO’s 22oz Copper Weft.
That warm weft just gives fades very interesting character. Less icy blue, more dusty, rusty, old-school workwear vibes. Think it’d suit Iron Heart insanely well, especially in an 18–21oz denim. I'd order those in a heart beat!

Dear Iron Heart,
it is rather unfortunate to see the 36-inch inseams slowly becoming a rarity at Iron Heart jeans. For those of us on the taller side, finding jeans that actually reach the ankles should not feel like a luxury - yet here we are, apparently expected to make peace with an unintended cropped look. Please, keep Iron Heart jeans at a glorious 36 inch length. -

20 years ago we did not make anything over 34" inseam. This was clearly long enough for most Japanese people, but not for the western market. So I requested that we start making all jeans 35" plus. I have just done a random check of about 15 pairs jeans and they were all between 35.5 and 37. Once we fix a pattern, it does not change, so there is no way that we could even accidentally shorten the inseam of production items. There may be a few OG work pants that are still at 34", because we just could not be bothered to change the production pattern, for what was a slow seller 15-20 years ago. For a while, up until about 12 years ago, Haraki did some 634 models in 34" inseam for the Japanese domestic market, even though in the west we were taking 36". I asked him to stop doing that because it meant when we restocked from his stock we had some 34 and some 36 inseam jeans in stock in UK, which was inconvenient and messy. So he even changed his Japanese domestic inseam.
