[Giles]

Yeah, that's tough......

[Alex]

@Giles does look like quite a hostilely architecthed bench

[Giles]

Not my town but my country...

[don_pipone]

@Giles slower than Germany by that margin is just wow!

[Giles]

You were probably able to post that from a train, I would not have been able to

[Matt]

In Sweden your app pulls up before you even think of opening it.

[Brian]

I don’t think we even have wifi on trains here

[Giles]

Get in there Gosport....

The fast shipping is starting to make sense

[Giles]

Sadly, we have more actual shops here now....

[goosehd]

@Giles …and to think that they tried to keep sailors on board the ships to keep them from trying to desert. That’s a few taverns, but maybe used as a recruitment tool.

[DeeDee85]

@Giles Just out of curiosity, how many are still standing/open for business?

When I reached legal drinking age (23 years ago) my home town of Mexborough In South Yorkshire had around 27 pubs which has dwindled down to 8 or 9 in the time that’s passed.

[Giles]

I'm going to say 15. But Gosport looks nothing like this anymore anyway as swathes of it was destroyed in the war, just about everything north of north street is new, so that takes out 1-19 and everything south of south street has gone too, so that takes out 42-57

@Giles

That’s awesome! Looks like you’ve got a ready-made focus group for the new 5XL, 6XL and beyond range right on your doorstep, Giles!
