Break in update: The double monks really did a number on my big toes but compeed to the rescue and I feel like its just part of the process. Leather is THICK.

@Northman They are the hardest to break in and take a long time because of that thickness. I broke mine in by breaking a cardinal rule of socks with sandals (around the house) to help in that process.

@goosehd I did the same for a week actually but then took them with me on a trip I am on right now and a full day in them caused it. But I feel like they are softer already after a long day of walking.

Curious if anyone has experience with the different lasts for Zerrows boots. Thinking about ordering a pair of Horsebutt Ropers and getting a bit overwhelmed by the choices. Not seeing any resources that show the difference between Semi Chisel, Flat, Square, Pointed, Lower Round, and Bend.

Any insight would be appreciated!

Hello, having a hard time deciding between the slit sandals and the sabots. Does anyone have any feedback on which one I would like more? I plan to wear them during the summer as normal shoes... It's hot where I live.

@SourPower After getting my black double monks I am hooked. They are really comfy now after almost a month as well. Initial break in was brutal tho.

I do also like the look of these. I wonder if these are a exclusive to Ironshopprovisions because I can't see this leather option being offered on zerrows own website?

For my wallets sake it's nice that the size 11 is sold out.

Horse stroll slippers. Came with extra insoles too for adjustment but they feel pretty comfy without. Asked for these with a natural finished edge instead of the black on the website and happy with that too.
