        What's the difference between Baker pants and fatigue pants?

            @dlrarmy to my understanding, in the wider clothing world they are pretty much the same thing. Baker pants are a nickname for OG-107 fatigues, and when most people say fatigues they mean OG-107s.

              “Technically speaking, fatigues are just a broad term that includes baker pants. Although some people would argue a baker pant is specifically a closer reproduction of the original OG-107 utility pant, whereas “fatigues” has become more of a general catch-all term over time.”

                        With the 747’s dropping this week, surely these can’t be far behind … we’re cutting it pretty close for our trip. May have to get you to ship to a hotel in Italy😂

                                It’s hard for us to tell you what to buy when we don’t know what you like. What specifically are you looking for in a pant? Pattern, colour, fit…

                                  @goosehd 10z sateen, 8oz ripstop or 4oz cotton/nylon. All look nearly the same. Really what’s the difference between the fabrics?

                                        @Tago-Mago thanks. Any idea what difference is in plain and ripstop weave? Is the plain more breathable? I wonder if the 10oz sateen being cotton is more breathable and summer orientated than the 4oz mix?

                                          @Gavin666 ripstop has a crosshatch pattern that makes it more durable.

                                          Fabric weight or composition alone are not suitable indicators for breathability. In this instance since I haven't handled or worn the individual trousers and fabrics anything I say would be speculation I'm afraid
