With the 747’s dropping this week, surely these can’t be far behind … we’re cutting it pretty close for our trip. May have to get you to ship to a hotel in Italy😂

@goosehd 10z sateen, 8oz ripstop or 4oz cotton/nylon. All look nearly the same. Really what’s the difference between the fabrics?

These are different fabrics in different weights, material compositions, weaves, and dying methods. Same cut, but all different

@Tago-Mago thanks. Any idea what difference is in plain and ripstop weave? Is the plain more breathable? I wonder if the 10oz sateen being cotton is more breathable and summer orientated than the 4oz mix?

@Gavin666 ripstop has a crosshatch pattern that makes it more durable.

Fabric weight or composition alone are not suitable indicators for breathability. In this instance since I haven't handled or worn the individual trousers and fabrics anything I say would be speculation I'm afraid

I’m totally spitballing here but I’d have to think that regardless of the fabric/weave, 4oz would have to feel more “airy and breathable” than something more than double its weight.

                                      Here’s hoping🤞🤞
