@wjw thank you. It was our cat Taco who had an intestinal blockage. I was in for 10k for about 24 hours, but they postponed and eventually cancelled his surgery as IV’s helped pass it without surgical intervention (they make you pay up front at this pet triage clinic). He’s home and feeling a lot better, and now I’m only out 5k!

@NorvilleRogers no, they are Luosjiet Indiana Moctoe in brown full grain cowhide. I could not bring my self to buy Aldens, now that they are cuting corners with cheap materials at a very premium price. They are for my Indiana Jones costume (yeah, what a surprise
) and are very well made for a pair of 220 € boots. Definetly a better bang for the buck then the Aldens, as it seems.But yes, these are Alden Indy knock offs. Good knock offs, but knock offs.

As soon as Id sent that first message, I realised that asking “are they Aldens?” might be offensive to some. I’ve heard their reputation might have taken a dive recently, but Ive never owned any so have no real idea.
Apologies to anyone Ive offended, and indeed, to anyone Ive offended by implying that owning Aldens is something to which being asked if they are actually Aldens is likely to cause offence. And lastly, sorry to everyone for having to read this ridiculous paragraph.

I rode one of these I borrowed from a Club brother from SF to Oregon and back hitting all the good redwood parks. I liked it. But, truth be told, it was a bit tall for me.

@1WayTrip I have the same ones and also got them in that orange colorway. I was hoping they would match the Duck Pants a bit closer, but the shade is slightly off. Still really cool though.
