IHSH-442-SAX - 9oz Selvedge Flannel Check Work Shirt - Sax Blue
-
@Oaktavia I don’t remember where have I seen it, but there was mention that Haraki managed to get more muted yarn colours, and the need to OD for that reason was gone, but I also remember that @Giles was mentioning that the initial UHF ODs we’re done to increase the weight of the fabric.
I hope I didn’t mixed up things. -
@Tago-Mago my man! Yes that’s exactly the source.
-
Just doing a little measuring comparison between this work shirt and the 439 Westerns …
It would appear as though this work shirt is cut slighter slimmer in the same XXL size as the westerns. I’ll be sure to get with the IH crew on order day to sort it out
. Super stoked, -
The purple one is also releasing the same day, it’s gonna be a race

Your nickname should be “the enabler”

Not looking like the measurements are going to work for me, what a bummer. 4xl is a little too big and 3xl is a little too small at the chest.
-
@Alex I didn’t know I could do that! Is this something I can inquire about now or when the shirt goes up for sale?
-
@indigo_fades , sorry being so late to respond to this, but as an NC resident myself, you need to move to the mountains like myself so we can wear the heavier stuff more frequently!
-
Brooklyn doing a preorder on this (and the other flannels) if any Canadians are looking to secure one, only drawback is GST I guess
-
@VegaS10 Man, we talk about it all the time. Living 5 minutes from the beach has its perks, but between weather and the cost of living I feel the mountains calling my name! I'm actually surprised this year it hasn't been too bad yet. Even got to wear my 361 today. I'm stoked to see what the temp limit for these lighter flannels will be for me. Hopefully I can make it in time for either the blue or the orange - I'd be happy with either. Hopefully there's plenty of stock!

@indigo_fades , my MIL just moved out of Wilmington to Fayetteville (she has family there), and I was super tempted to buy her beach house, but the taxes and HOA we're ridiculous.
I'm right outside of Asheville myself, and while everything is expensive here, there is some really nice hidden areas where the prices aren't that bad.
I'm still wearing my 14oz ib type 3 in the mornings into lunchtime. As i'm typing this, we have frost on the ground.....lol.
I'm pretty sure I'll be grabbing the SAX, as it can be worn a LOT up here.
