    • RE: IHSH-189-BRN - 17oz Duck CPO Work Shirt - "The UnTucked" - Brown

Late to the party, as usual, but I’ve fallen hard for the IHSH-189-BRN 17oz Duck CPO Work Shirt – “The Untucked” in brown.
Looks like it’s already sold out most places, so I’m wondering if anyone knows which stockests (UK/EU/anywhere, honestly) are still due to recieve a 4XL—or if any late alocations might still be floating around. I need at least a 25.2" chest, otherwise I’m fighting for oxygen and dignity.
Fit-wise, I’m trying to get my head around how this one wears. Am I right in thinking this model runs a touch smaller than other Iron Heart CPOs? And how does it comparred room-wise to a 14oz Type III jacket—is it noticeably trimmer through the chest and shoulders, or does the duck give it a bit of breathing room?
Basically: did I miss the boat completely, or is there still hope for a broad-chested straggler? Any intel, fit pics, or hard-earned wisdom would be massively appreciated.
      Cheers 🍻

    • Advice on Indigo Wabash Care & Fade Strategy (IHSH-227-IND 12oz Wabash CPO)

      Hi everyone,
First of all, I hope I’m not breaking any rules by posting this — I’m new to the forum, so please forgive me if I’ve missed a thread covering this already.
I’ve recently picked up the IHSH-227-IND 12oz Wabash CPO in indigo, and I’d really appreciate some advice from those of you who have experiance with Indigo Wabash and, ideally, this specific model.
I absolutely love the depth of the indigo and the way the discharge dots sit on the fabric. My goal is to develop strong, natural character over time while also preserving the integrity of the shirt. I’d like to be intentional from the begining rather than just guessing my way through it.
A few things I’d love insight on:
Would you recomend an initial soak before first wear, or should I just start wearing it immediatley?
If soaking, would you suggest cold or warm water? Inside out? Gentle spin or no agitation at all?
Roughly how many wears did you put in before the first wash?
After that first wash, what cadence has worked best for you — longer wear cycles for contrast, or more regular maintenence washes?

My instinct is to wear it consistantly and let it earn its first wash naturally, but I also don’t want to overlook anything that might help set the foundation for better fades in the long run.
If anyone is willing to share pictures or photos of their Indigo Wabash, I would sincerely apreciate it.
Any personal experiance, lessons learned, or visual refrences would be hugely valued. I’m looking forward to learning from you all and building some knowlege along the way.
      Thanks in advance 🙏

    • Wanted - 332 SAX 25th Anniversary 3X or 4XL

Forgive me for sliding into this thread, but I’ve been thinking about this shirt more than I probably should admit.
If anyone has one resting in the back of the closet that deserves to be back in circulation, I’d be grateful to take it off your hands. Some pieces are too good to sit unworn.
I’m looking for something with a 25” pit-to-pit — ideally XXXL, maybe even 4XL depending on the fit.
If you’re open to letting one go, I promise it’ll be worn proudly and often.
Appreciate you all — and apologies for adding another ask, but when a shirt’s this good, it’s worth the shot.

    • RE: IH-526SVod - 21oz Selvedge Denim Modified Type III Vest - Overdyed Indigo

      Hi everyone,

I’d really appreciate some guidance from those of you with experience wearing Iron Heart vests.

For reference, I currently own a Type III (IH-526J-142, 14oz) in 4XL, with a chest measurement of 130 cm (pit to pit doubled). It fits me perfectly — comfortable, with enough room for movement and even layering a hoodie underneath.

I’ve come across a stockist who happens to have a single 4XL vest (IH-526SVod, 21oz) available, and I’m very tempted. They’ve provided a pit-to-pit measurement of 62 cm (124 cm chest), which is about 6 cm smaller than my jacket.

Since I’ve never owned or worn a vest before, I’m unsure how to interpret this difference. Intuitively, I’m wondering if the lack of sleeves might make a slightly smaller chest measurement workable — or if, on the contrary, that reduction would make it feel too tight, especially when layered.

For those who own both Type III jackets and vests from Iron Heart:

      • Do you typically size your vests the same as your jackets?
      • Is a 6 cm reduction in chest measurement noticeable or restrictive in practice?
      • Would this still allow for light layering, or would it likely feel too snug?

I’d love to hear your experiences before I make a decision — especially since this seems to be a rare opportunity to grab one in my size.

Thanks in advance for any insight!
