@Alex waist will be too tight if I did Alex. Think I will have to return and wait for 777 and keep 🫰
for sizing -
Just got my pair! Doesn't fit me good enough to straight away think about second pair, but good enough that I'll be keeping them.
unless I accidentally wash them at 60* + high spin, I'll be ok!Wore them commuting today. Nearly was late to work trying to button them up first time! Haven't struggled that much since my 25oz samurais!
Also nearly got blisters on back on my knees for the first time!Tomorrow will soak and wash them and quite likely put away until autumn.
Pardon bad quality pictures! I'll make nicer ones later!

@Alex thanks Alex. A difficult decision but may be a harder sell due to being 31”. Think I will return and hold out to see if 777 sizing different to last run. Thanks for help

@timmyboy As I understand it, the gospel as handed down by Haraki is:
Soak
> Let dry
Wash
Let dry
WearCorrected version. And @Kasi is correct in that you could wear them wet or damp to no harm, but you don't need to
Definitely new to unsanforized denim, so I have to ask.
Can i just do a hand wash ( woolite dark with some agitation and warm water) in the tub when I first get it, to get the shrink out? Then hang dry and wear?
-
@iamjustdanny hot water is better, but yes.

Sweet! I was hoping that I can combine the soak and wash steps.
I also don't want to put these in the washing machine just yet.
-
@iamjustdanny make sure you have shrank the jeans to set the stitching. If not, you may be setting yourself up for issues later on with premature failure or blowout.
-
@goosehd duly noted. Will use hot water.
