I've thought for a while that @Olly should turn his hand to documentaries. He really brings the best out of his subjects and draws me into stuff way beyond my usual interests and experiences but still brings something fresh where our interests coincide.

Forgive me if this is the wrong space to discuss this but as a relatively new fan of the brand I've been catching up on the IH history through this podcast. I listened to this episode with Paula last night and she mentioned at that time that you were getting Japanese lessons, @Alex

As a self-taught learner for about a year and my third trip to Japan last month to practice and immerse, I'm curious to hear if you are continuing your tuition and how your language journey is going? I found my last experience in Japan to be deeply rewarding even speaking broken Japanese so it'd be intriguing to hear how your study has effected your visits.
