@denim-dawg Haha, that jacket has been patinated to death, I´m afraid. Three generations of hard use has taken its toll. Interestingly it is made of high quality goat leather (as is the 1942 bomber suit). Almost as strong as horse leather, but much lighter, I wonder why so few choose goat in their jackets. We made a run of replicas of this jacket in various leathers, from Horween CXL to Shinki horse (now THAT was something). If we were to do it again, we would definately try to find high quality goat leathers.

Hi everyone,

I’m Dan from Germany. I recently joined the forum after receiving the traveling shirt from JB, just like some of you here.

It will definitely get some honest wear with me. I’m planning to put some miles on it, let it collect a bit of , dust and hopefully some good stories along the way.

I’ve actually had the shirt for a little while already and will share a few photos soon to show how it’s been getting along.
