Theme Week March 2-6 - Show us What You've Got....

This thread is pure gold. So many exciting stories! This was a perfect evening read, lying on my hotel bed in Kyoto after another long day in this beautiful country Japan. Not sure if I would be here if Japanese Denim had not pushed me to explore this world.
A bit late to the party but nevertheless:
My grail IH piece, the mighty IHJ-54 aka „The Horse“. I always wanted to own a nice black leather jacket. When I discovered the thread on the forum, I have read it at least 10 times. As there were few posts I also went through the IHJ-35 thread for another 10 times or so. The more I looked, the more I knew this was the one.
Then the great news: IH 20th anny party in Gosport. I started saving up for this the moment I knew the party was happening. I knew if I put it on and liked it, I’d never put it off again. And that’s exactly what happened.
First IH party + Haraki signing the jacket?
I will never forget it.

My grail non-IH piece: A pair of non Selvedge Evisu jeans found on a flee market in Munich. Worn by a band member on the music video set of my favorite local Hip Hop Crew, Blumentopf.
No selvedge, not the craziest fabric, paid 20€, but this is the jeans that started it all. I repainted the arcs, did my first Sashiko and will never ever let it go.

And, last but not least, my first ever IH piece, the IHSH-62-BLK Wabash. Bought on Kleinanzeigen in 2019. Debated for days if a shirt could be worth that money. It was and still is.

And, honorable mention, the first ever IH jeans I jumped into. My beloved IH-888S. My favorite pair that I still have in rotation after close to 500 wear days.

Great post @weftyarn - I was at that party in Gosport and saw you getting your stuff signed by Haraki-San and remember thinking how cool that was and how happy you both were! It was a special moment.
On a side note - I like your bag in this pic. What is she? (Not that all bags are female

For the Friday fade+flannel: my oldest 888 in 14oz + the slightly pimped Brund special IHSH-BRUND-NAV. Most versatile of my flannels due to the lack of pattern..

-
Choosing a favorite flannel proved impossible when looking into my closet. So, I chose the one that I love that would be most seasonally appropriate for the 70 degree spring day we are having, today. The delightfully crinkly IHSH-24–a classic. Especially paired with my double indigo xhs, breathability is a must.

-
Not really a flannel guy, but picked this from the outlet many many moons ago. Colour is perfect with faded jeans. Almost pristine vest for comparison

-
Both of today’s choices are second hand. I was looking for new or used 888 21oz IB and had posted a wanted ad. Adam K (the double cuff) reached out with his Indigo Invitational people choice pair. They were a perfect fit and needed some repair. The perfect Motorcycle denim. Also scored a faded 101 TG from Japan before the 2nd release. Both are so comfortable.

@Tago-Mago I love that 276 too.
I have one hardly worn before I became pregnant with middle age. Too lazy to sell it.

Good morning homies!
Today I’m on the fade side and definitely not the flannel. I’m in Florida so owning a flannel makes almost no sense. Maybe that will change one day, but for now, here are my most faded pieces.
IHSH-33-IND w/ 319 days of wear, 1 soak & 3 washes
IH-888S-UHR w/ 213 days of wear, 1 initial soak & 1 wash at 7 months (day 210.)
