First two pieces, both bought January 2021 direct from IHUK

My first piece is long gone I'm afraid so no fade pics! but I picked up the 666 x R&H 21oz pair from the Fitzrovia store around 2014 from Junior, long before I ever worked there and indeed Iron Heart, I wore them to death for about three years non stop, until they had holes, and multiple repairs by Chesson, then I fucked up and hemmed them too short so they where unwearable and had to sadly let them go on eBay, gutted I don't have any photos because they looked great, but that's the pair that really got me started on Iron Heart.

First was a 666-21 I bought from the good folks at Burg und Schild in, I want to say, 2021. I've since sold them because they became much too big for me. Replaced them with a 777-21 in 2022 from Statement which I still rock as my main pair, even though they too are running quite large on me at this point.

First shirt must have been a Johnny Cash III, which I still have though is on the chopping block because that one, too, does not fit me anymore (you may see a pattern emerge here)

But to be fair, Internet commerce was novel around that time and buying anything where you couldn’t put your hands on it first seemed strange.

My first IH item was the IH-526J in 2023 (kinda new here) it won me over in seconds and convinced me it needed (a lot) companions

First IH piece was the IHSH-288 Kersey work shirt in July of ‘22. Was so impressed with the fabric and construction.. it made me an immediate IH loyalist.

@goosehd brother, I wish! Hahaha. These are only 33’s. Pictures must make them look much bigger. I’m on a 3” dobinson lift with 285/70/17’s.

My memory is shot, pretty sure a beat up pair of 301’s were my gateway drug (have since sold as they were too big). Found Iron Heart while searching for “motorcycle jeans”. The Sax Flannel and 888xhs are my oldest at the momement.

I won’t be getting any bonus points for rare or unique pieces. I’ve been into the standards from the start.

My first jeans were 633 21oz shown here, purchased spring 2021 at SENY. Gosh I forgot how comfy they are. My first shirts were 1600 Ts, followed by the IHSH-07 hickory western. Love that one, but the moiré effect makes it a bit much for a normal workday, so I’m going with this (now too small) 33OD instead (purchased from Dant summer 2021). These Wescos were also my first foray into proper boots.

The forum has had a big influence on my purchasing over the years. I’m also wearing JMM glasses, a vintage Seiko, and even the deodorant/aftershave/hair texture I use came from recommendations here. It’s been a good place to while away some time.

My first IH piece was a pair of 888s I purchased in 2023.

At first I didn't get the hype but because of the price. I knew they were quality over engineered and ethically sourced. I just thought that the jeans seemed boring. But now all I crave is IH heavy weight stuff. No matter the season.

21 oz 777s that I bought at Brund. My first IH purchase in the fall of 2020. They are great, but I wear them way too rarely. I've come to realize, that I find the tightness of the legs too restrictive. When I bought them I really liked that they stayed in place without being tight at the waist. Now I prefer pants that are loose throughout, but held up at the waist. I guess we all get older.

The shirt may be unique, but it is unlikely to be a sought after item: It is a 228 BLK, bought from the outlet at IHUK. It was my second IH item. I had the original diamond shaped snaps swapped for round ones, to make it look less like I was on my way to the rodeo. Great shirt, I probably should have bought a size smaller.

The combination is really as unflattering as possible given my body shape. I'm top heavy, and wearing tight jeans and a loose shirt really underlines that

Oh, and the photo is obviously horrible. Nothing to do about that
