@Luke_is_back im also not Alex, but when it comes to the sizing part of your question - buy whatever size that matches the measurements of your best fitting pair currently. Though the waist will shrink 1”, it will stretch back out relatively quick.
Keep in mind you will lose 1-1.25” in the inseam, so if you get them hemmed— plan for that.
Also make sure all measurements you need line up with your best fitting pair if you need certain measurements. Sometimes you may have to size up due to have a bigger thigh compared to your waist measurement.

@drkevy I sometimes find with restock notifications, I get the email like 10minutes after the drop... it's not practical but I always follow the calendar and check social media posts for when restocks will happen, that way I can show up at :00 on the dot and get what I'm after

I bought that pair (photos linked above) in 2021. Repaired them a bunch. Darned the frayed cuffs. Iron-ons inside the crotch. Darned the top of the right pocket bag to the denim because taking my phone in and out wore a hole in the top of the pocket bag. Which made the pocket shorter so I had to lengthen the right pocket because my phone was poking my femoral artery. Been a nice little project that only you folks on here would appreciate.
When I bought them I figured they'd always be readily available. After following this thread I see that's not the case, so I bought a backup pair because I'm a psycho.
When I do start on this pair I'm going to wash them first. The pair I posted pics of in the summer has only ever had one soak, which some would say is sub-optimal, because I'm afraid of shrinkage. Went a size up on this pair, which some would say is unwise, but, I'm going to do it anyway. Would be nice to have a pair I can throw in the machine any time without worrying.

Same. Honestly, the longer it takes the better for me. I can’t wear them til 2027 so the less days they’re in my closet the less days I’m tempted lol.
