@tenuin I get that! So many shirts / overshirts that’ll probably last the rest of my life. This Ironheart stuff is so well made and I’m sure UES isn’t far off. But we have to draw the line somewhere. How many indigo shirts / shakets / flannels do we need? With closet space being finite, I have to carefully weigh each potential purchase. I’m really curious about the Tricotine though. I have a No. 7 indigo from them and it’s an absolute beast of a t-shirt and almost everyone seems to rave about the Tricotine.

Well I fell in line and just copped one from Buyee.. I’ve never gone through them before so I’m interested in seeing how the process unfolds. Seems like I paid the standard Japanese price, but we’ll see what sort of duties and fees get tacked on. Stoked either way!

@MSav32323 they order it for you, a few days later they will let you know it arrived. you can request photos (for a fee), consolidate multiple packages into one (if you ordered from more than one place, for a fee) and then have to select the onward shipping method. Its pretty straight forward once you've done it for the first time

I didn't keep track, but maybe 3-4 days a week doing landscaping (minus the hot ass summer months) for a little over a year. My usual system is to wear a piece for as long as I can then wash it regularly, maybe every 3 weeks or so. I think the tricotine benefits a lot from frequent washing but thats just me.

I emailed UES earlier in the week, they will have it both in their online stores and wholesale partners this month. I think they will announce it shortly....i just follow bears tokyo as they offer free delivery and typically show fairly low prices than what i normally see....

Only a few wears on the Tricotine. Absolutely love this, however, my Black Buck getting most of my wears lately.

still trying to figure out my size...i'm in between an XL and XXL. Redcast and Rivet&Hide also have different numbers on their respective size charts too.

measurements are strange compared to older Statement and Redcast sizing charts
for example chest measurements size 4 to 5 is a difference from 9 cm crazy
can’t believe this run measures so different to past ones .

I’ve decided to pick up a 4, I’m a xl in IH work shirts and a 4 in ues flannels.

I hope the tricotine is as good as the ues heavy indigo flannel, this has been my go to for the last couple of months

@Daniel-San just saw this too, seems strange but I always find R&H measurements somehow "off".

I'm a 3 in my tricotine, XL in my IHSH-33, and Johnny Cash if that's any help to anyone. No UHF to compare to (yet, inbound) but going by measurements I should be an XL in that too.
I have a size 4 in another UES flannel that's much too large for my liking.

The size charts may be weird because UES seem to have recently updated their sizing.
