Then just rewatch the wedding scene @Jett129 that alone is worth it. People often think about the Russian roulette, but the portrayal of this poor, squalid life in 1960s Pennsylvania is even more impressive. Like when the survivors come together at the end to sing "God Bless America."

It’s over, OBAA movie of the year.

I love the scene with the French colonialists in the extended version. The meal is such a surreal juxtaposition in an already surreal movie, -
@ARNC great recommendation. Terri Hooley is a legend in Ireland and The Undertones one of my favourite bands of that era. I’m seeing them again on their UK tour this year.

Thought the first UK screening of Shigeru Yoshida‘s film Shades of Indigo on 28 March might be of interest. General booking opens tomorrow, already open for Barbican members.

If anyone else is going, there might be an opportunity for an IH mini meet-up afterwards.

It took a second viewing but finally behind all the praise for One Battle After Another. Helped that I was ready for Leo to be more akin to the dude than some badass revolutionist (my initial expectations). And Benicio and Sean Penn

Cheap thrills and narratively a string of clichés.
