The chore coat is a little longer so probably not the best pairing.
I might try it later with one of the lightweight N-1s just to check the length, but for now I’m wearing the Pale Rider and trying to get some miles on it. I thought about throwing the chore coat over it, but I’d probably end up looking like I did as a kid in Minnesota trying to jam on three winter coats, arms stuck halfway in, flailing around just trying to get them on or off.
Edit: The chore coat didn’t fit over the Pale Rider, mainly because I sized down for a more fitted silhouette. Also, it’s probably a bit of a faux pas to layer a workwear piece over a western jacket, though I’m not sure how everyone feels about mixing those styles

@SKT I’d be lying if I said that my shoulders weren’t aching and my legs didn’t turn to jelly after I sat down.
It’s amazing what a good night sleep and some mountain food will do to lift your spirits and reset the body. Today is an acclimating day so just a short hike around the Namche Bazar area and eating some good food/coffee. Incredibly beautiful area and I can feel the air starting to get thinner.@Mizmazzle Thanks dude man - you’re here in spirit
