Absolutely not needed and only treated when necessary. The best leather jackets I’ve ever run across are worn by motorcyclists who have worn them through all kinds of weather. The repeated soaking and drying make the jackets take on a life of their own and in my opinion the best examples of what is and could be.

Yup, a good quality leather jacket will look better the more you wear it. No coating needed and no conditioning until it really needs it, a few years in.

Aaaaaaaaaahhh I am the happiest man on earth! Today my Gold Digger Type 2 in Olive arrived from Japan!!! It is such a beauty and the size is perfect for me! It feels so good to wear it and it is less stiff than I thought.
