This is so good, I just read this thread from back in the days. I sold this 10yrs ago to just buy it again some months later. Right After Coming Home Today I had to put it on

Looking for a fit check please guys. The jacket is immediately comfortable and seems to fit really well. I hadn't really planned on this jacket and have no experience with duck, however I loved the colour and am really happy with it. A complete contrast to the rest of my wardrobe.

Please ignore the joggers, just back from the gym and the delivery was waiting...

@Bane011 I've actually got a XXXXL in this one, I probably could squeeze into the XXXL but I prefer the room for layering potential

@Ross So XXXL for more fitted look and feel with a tshirt? Could you wear a button down under 3XL do you think? Im looking for more fitted look but still being able to button down and feel normal instead of a stuffed burrito 🙌🏻😅 I have like fifteen IH button down, CPOs, Type II slubby, everything in 3X, all pretty perfect. Thank you mate!

@Bane011 I need a 4XL to get more than first 2 buttons buttoned over basically anything more than a light tee. I'm the same, basically 3XL is almost everything, but this is an exception for me. You can always shoot me a DM or email if you want to get into the nitty-gritty of measurements as they're always the most telling factor if you're on the fence

@Ross you were right mate, thank you 🙏🏻 Peeerrrfect fit 4X in this beauty🙌🏻 Also, I had a chance to try 526pj, also 4x is perfect. Should have listened to you with my 17oz duck canvas western CPO, I got 3X and it a bit snug 😓

@Bane011 Hell yeh! looks ideal to me! And yes, Types IIIs and western CPOs tend to be the items which i need to go up to a 4XL in if ever, probably because they're a little slimmer in the middle, which isn't ideal for a gentleman of my .. 'structure' 😂

Was about to buy this last week, and when I messaged Self Edge they said they had the dimensions for the old run listed and that they were about to update it to reflect the new run. I'm just realizing how short these are - does anyone have any photos that could help convince me this isn't going to look like a crop top? The old measurements looked perfect, I'm glad I double checked before ordering.

Well worn denim & leather is a journal of life.

@indigo_fades Hey man, I'm 180cm and at the time of the picture (see post 1091 of this thread) I was around 77kg I think, just for reference.

If you body type allows and if you like the style, you can take the size up to get a little more length. You need to think if you would layer this or not. With a T only my "solution" might not work for you.

For me it works since I have monkey arms and slightly broader shoulders for my body size, and also because I know I would wear this mostly mid-season with a sweatshirt under, which helps with the larger P2P that goes with the size up.

If you look the thread from the beginning, not everyone wears this in the (probably) intended "short type 3" style.

My 2 euro cents, hope this helps !
