IHSH-293-OD - 18oz Vintage Selvedge Denim CPO Shirt - Indigo Overdyed Black
-
Got a large! First OD anything for me
-
Got a XXL! Thanks again for the feedback on the sizing in my last post. I think this will be great, maybe with some room for layering.
-
Amazed these are still hanging around. Was so hung up on getting this in I nearly missed out on the A2!!

-
Ordered a XXXL hoping they can find one with a chest close to 25”. If not may need to up my GLP-1 and skip chest/back day for the next month.
-
@northsouthdenimguy
sometimes in the gym I half jokingly wonder how this will affect my size chart measurements. -
@Tobi looks damm great on you. Happy to add this to my IH collection

-
@northsouthdenimguy Just wear it open. (Evidence provided in the pic of Giuli a few posts back) Can’t really beat this shirt, open or glosed.
-
I wanted something to replace my 178 with a little bit shorter sleeves…
-
@northsouthdenimguy Aha, I see. You know exactly what you're getting.
-
Damn, I am weak. The 292-IND is currently my favourite shirt, and I really wanted the OD for my collection, even though I honestly don’t need another shirt right now. But I figured the OD would go perfectly with my 101J Storm Rider … My resolution to not buy another shirt this year lasted exactly one night ^^
-
@UnripeTitanium haha, one night!
And look at it this way: it would go perfectly with your 101J, and you are gonna love the OD!
-
For anyone who also owns the IHSH-178 - 18oz, is there enough of a difference between the 2 to warrant getting this? I love the idea of some blue poking through, but just struggling to justify 2 shirts that initially look so similar.
-
@Kingmob31 I think so, I would say the 178 is a bit tougher from the start, mine is still quite rigid after all these years. The 293-OD has a nicer hand feel IMO. Definitely need to find out in the name of research

-
I have a 178 and agree it’s pretty tough fabric — mine’s still pretty stiff like Adam’s, but it’s nothing approaching the rigidity of the 16oz non-selvedge black CPO. I’ve never owned the 293 OD, but I did have the regular indigo version for a little bit and thought it was comparatively comfier from the get-go.
@Kingmob31 if you already have a 178, could always hold out for the next time the regular 293 comes back.
-
I am seeing from some retailers that this run has came out smaller than past iterations. I sticked to my usual given the measurements, hope it will turn out well but curious to hear from other people once they receive theirs.
-
@tvaillant75 I actually just saw shopvancouver mention it on the gram. So I emailed and asked about the next size up measurements just in case I wanted to order another . I'm normally large, but the large self edge version was slightly too small. I ordered a large in this with measurements almost to what my non overdyed counterpart is, ....but I'm worried nonetheless.
-
@Denimminer, in my experience, OD products (shirts, jackets, pants) always run a little bit smaller than their non-OD counterparts. Not much, but there is a difference.
Measure twice, buy once.
-
@Denimminer yeah saw the same thing but XL (sized for him) ran large on TJ IMHO. Measurements wise should work out we'll see
-
Just got mine from R & H. No chain stitch run-off? Can’t say I care too much…
-
@AdamJ ahh you're killing me. I'm going to scroll through all the fade shots to persuade me.
