@mclaincausey totally agree, I am the same and I pretty much despise having to even have a mobile phone - but I think its not too difficult to see where all this technology is heading.....

Two strands of market lights in our back yard were ripped out of the brick of our house where they were attached by a windstorm. Broken glass all over the deck, drain tile rocks, grass, and driveway. It is going to be an overwhelming set of chores to make the back yard remotely safe for the dog and us and I feel there will be inevitable issues. What a huge bummer. Shatterproof market lights next time (honestly they probably should all be at least for outdoors).

@mclaincausey bummer man, sorry for your trouble. Funny you mention those lights though, i just hung a bunch around the perimeter of our back yard along the wood line. I do worry about them getting taken out by sticks in the wind but now i'm def glad they're not glass. Govee brand or something, with an app to change colors and stuff. They lack the charm of incandescent glass bulbs but the gimmicks are cool.

It’s pretty much a “Pay to Play” kind of deal. These days it’s getting filled with tossers who have nothing to do with Rock and Roll anyway.

RRHOF is worth visiting if you find yourself in Cleveland, but I have no respect for the organization beyond the museum. Just a self appointed steward of greatness in “rock and roll “ that doesn’t have the focus (would be better characterized as “popular music” HOF), historical literacy (eg omissions such as the Mississippi Jook Band who arguably recorded the first “rock and roll” riffs), or taste and historical context (Sonic Youth, King Crimson, The Meters, I think Zevon is still snubbed, etc) to warrant that role.
They can fuck all the way off.
