Having just read Sympathy for the Drummer, I get what you mean.

I am not a fooies "fan", but I did see Josh with them last year and I loved the power and double kick that he brought to the songs. However, music is subjective, and we all enjoy different things.

Be interesting to see how things get on for Rubin. I give him less than 2 years at a stretch.

@Bridger Sympathy for the Drummer is a great book and there was a copy going around the Forum for a little while. Foo Fighters had kind of lost me as of late, and I wasn’t paying attention as to who their new drummer might be. Thanks for the info.

The Sword was dope!! Nice and heavy with a little of that desert groove. They covered A Space Odyssey--> The Warped Riders album in it's entirety. Amazing night.
