MLB (Baseball)

Not MLB specific, but I thought y’all might appreciate this new dad glove since it’s a crossover of Japan, leather craft, and baseball. Wilson A2K D33 premium blonde pro stock leather, hand crafted over 18 hours. It’s stiff as hell and going to take some serious effort to break in. Play ball!
-
@SKT thank you! Really looking forward to watching it patina and develop character over time.
-
A big fuck you goes out to the Fenway Group. Loosing Mookie for nothing was bad enough but now realizing the Red Sox traded Devers for Florian Wirtz. Wicked cool John Henry
-
Big Jays fan here. I just can’t believe what a roll these guys are on. That was the first time in franchise history they swept the Yankees at home. I thought maybe they would split that series if they were lucky. Now being a Jays fan I also know in a couple weeks they could be in last place in the division so I’ll just enjoy this while I can.

Winning a 1-0 shutout is the best way to win our 9th in a row! Crazy game, baseball...
-
I never doubted moving Devers for a moment
-
@flannel-slut he made it impossible to keep him. Wish they had gotten something for him of immediate influence.
-
All hail the professor
-
Kinda like calling your shot before a home run…
Braves had maddog up in the booth recently and he is not a great public speaker haha
-
@flannel-slut haha good for the jays
-
Big Jays fan here. I cannot believe they have made it this far. Fingers crossed they can take down Seattle
-
@flannel-slut I’ll never forgive him for leaving the Cubs! I do have his Donruss rookie card in Cubs paraphernalia at least. He was so fun to watch, basically a psychiatrist on the mound who don’t need electric stuff to make you look foolish. His psychological mastery included the umpires as well as the hitters too.
-
@flannel-slut thats great!
-
I'm still pulling for the White Sox
-
Jays bats are cold again and if we don’t get runs our bullpen is not good enough to keep runs off the board. Definitely overmatched last night.
-
WTF was that, Shohei?
10 strikeouts, 2 hits on 10 innings and a win. And 3 Roy Hobbs style bombs including a leadoff HR after striking out the side.
This is in the discussion for the most dominant athletic performance in history, across all sports.
Unreal.

Striking out 10 and allowing only 2 hits in 6.1 while also hitting 3 400+ foot, 110+ MPH exit velocity home runs IN THE NLCS is absolutely video game territory. It’s beyond comprehension, and does not seem humanly possible… if you were writing a baseball movie it would be too far. It’s more like Roy Hobbs than anything we’ve ever seen in the real world.
