+1 for the ball chain necklace. Get one long enough (21 to 24") to add a pendant.

I refuse to buy a belt loop buddy (even though I want one) because this is a path I cannot go down
They used to be <$100 when I bought mine.

I love that Good Art makes so many unique products that fit different use cases for our individual lives. With this being said, essential can be a bit subjective…
To me the Model 10 is the pinnacle, as well as the essential piece to own. I wear it every day, and it just nails the perfect blend of form and function. Once I added the Model 10 to my collection I finally felt satisfied.

My first piece was the Bottle Bracelet and it was great but I wasnt satisfied until I got something w the rosette.
Anything you buy is gonna be great. Go slow and enjoy what you get.

I agree that a BLB (or EZ Slider) is a great place to start, especially without having to delve into sizing.
-
@SourPower is that the bracelet?
-
@truby correct

Ok dudes after reading your thoughts here’s what I got.
- Pop lock necklace 24 (no pendant yet saving some money for now.)
- pop lock bracelet
- belt loop buddy silver
- Pinky ring with rosette small.
Total cost was somewhere around 1600….
You can buy one single thing and spend 2k or more than that so I feel like I got off kinda easy….

Got the belt buddy in silver (good call or brass better?)
-
@injunjack lol that was my opinion too.
I no longer eat seed oils and now the whole world is changeing.
-
@SKT my thoughts exactly. i'm more of a "DIY jewelry" kinda guy.
Oh and for me, an 'essential' is a good pair of boots to go with my jeans, and a chain/tether for my wallet.
...AND a good pair of shades.
-
None of it is essential, but I guess the best “starters” are a belt loop buddy in brass or maybe a ball chain bracelet. Eases you into it.
I honestly didn’t “get it” until I listened to Josh on the Iron Cast talk about the business and process. Then I met him at the 20th anniversary party and got to talk with him for a bit.
What most people don’t get with Good Art is that you aren’t just paying money for silver jewelry but rather you are actually buying well-made, well designed, and creatively built pieces of wearable art. Pick and choose your starting point dollar wise, and go only as far as you want to go.

Belt loop buddy’s are impossible for me to use. Everyone says they’re so easy. NOPE.
I felt the same way when I was using them the way they said to. I found a different way to do it, and it has made all the difference to me!

Maybe this belongs to unpopolar opinions.
It’s fine here, for now!
