@Goz It may but also you need to agitate it for maximum shrinkage. Hot water by itself will not work on its own.

@goosehd Ok I did a little agitation the second time I soaked it. The water was very hot 🔥!! I just want to remove as much shrinkage as possible so I don't have to worry about it in the future.

@worn2fade Watching your video makes me think I need this 526L even though I picked up a 526LOD at the last release and it's been too hot here to wear it.

@Goz Hot water and agitation is about all you can do. Just don't go too hot or you risk damaging the leather patch!

@seawolf OK thank you the water was as hot as the tap could get and the patch still looks decent.

@Goz I soaked mine in the hottest possible tap water for about 80 minutes the first time and then soaked again in preparation for a wash a day later. I agitated by hand the first soak with super hot water and there was still some shrinkage left, in full transparency - if you don’t wash it in a washing machine - you more than likely will still have some shrinkage there waiting for ya.

If you scroll up a bit you can see my detailed process with this denim along with a short YouTube video.

@worn2fade Hey thanks for the info I guess I'll have to wash it to get the rest of the shrinkage out. Did you wash your jacket in hot water?

@Goz the washer machine I used didn’t allow hot water with a delicate cycle so I did warm, not hot.
